The Perth Mint is proud to present the annual launch of the 1/4 oz gold lunar rabbit 2023 coins, the most sought-after annual collection as part of the 2023 Australian Bullion Coin Program. The 2023 Lunar Series III features the Year of the Rabbit, the fourth cycle of the Chinese zodiac calendar and is considered the luckiest of all 12 animals. The Rabbit is a symbol of mercy, elegance, and beauty. Since its first release in 1995, the Perth Mint’s lunar series has become hugely successful and anticipated yearly by collectors and investors all over the world.
DESIGN
The reverse of each gold bullion coin portrays a leaping rabbit among grasses with feathery plumes. Included in the design is the Chinese character for ‘rabbit’, the inscription ‘RABBIT 2023’ and The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark. The obverse of each coin depicts the Jody Clark effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the weight and fineness, and the monetary denomination.

Ordering Process

- Pay via EFT or BPAY and email receipt (instructions provided).
- Receive a notification when your order is ready to collect (most new items take circa 7 to 10 days to arrive in office).
- Collect with ID or arrange a storage option within Guardian Vaults. You can arrange a storage solution from anywhere in the world with our ‘Key Registered’ storage program.
Delivery
Delivery to a residential address is currently unavailable.
Delivery can be sent via insured secure transport to a business address, on orders over the value of $50,000. Please contact us for a delivery quote before placing your order. In most cases the insured delivery fee is less than 1% of the value of orders over $100,000.
